I have been browsing this and other forums, but I haven't found much advice from after the earthquake. I have two nights of my itinerary that I want to spend outside of Kathmandu. Would you recommend spending two nights in Patan or Bhaktapur? I plan to visit whichever city I do not stay in, but I'm trying to decide where to base myself for two nights. If it helps, I will be coming from Boudha and heading to Thamel before and after these two nights. I've seen conflicting information about the damage after the earthquake to Patan and Bhaktapur's respective Durbar squares, and I appreciate any information anyone can provide!
